Northumberland Community Hub Investment Fund now open
21st Mar 2022
Grants of up to £10,000 are available now to organisations and community venues such as Village Halls, to help develop community led approaches to modernising or developing facilities.
This could be for developing a community venue or village hall, a new partnership, an interactive community space or for developing accessible digital provision and engagement.
The Fund is looking for projects that are innovative, creative, things to support your community and that are available for the longer term.
They're really interested in how the fund can be used to support residents, particularly those who are out of work or those wanting to increase their skills. They are also looking for projects that are shaped by community needs, support provision of activities and can demonstrate how the funding can deliver maximum impact and influence future actions. They expect to deliver 8 revenue and 9 capital grants over the coming year.
Applications can be made at any time, with panel meetings taking place the last Monday of each month.
The programme will end in December 2022, with projects needing to be completed by March 2023. For an informal chat, further information or to apply please contact: communityhubs@northumberland.gov.uk
The project is funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority.
