At our AGM this year our new President, Lord Curry of Kirkharle, will give his inaugural speech on the topic of ‘The future of rural areas and their communities.’

Given the work currently progressing via the House of Lords Rural Economy Select Committee, the uncertainties surrounding the impact of Brexit and the potential opportunities of the impending ‘North of Tyne Combined Authority’ and ‘Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal,’ this is obviously a hot topic. We will also give a brief overview of our current and future plans which we hope will be of interest to all our members.

The AGM will start at 2pm and conclude by 4pm. A buffet lunch will be available from 1pm.
