CAN is excited to be recruiting to a brand-new post of Communications Manager.

After benefiting from the services of a marketing consultant for many years and following the continued growth of our activities, we have decided it's time to create a permanent, part-time position.

We are ambitious in meeting the needs of Northumberland’s rural communities, and in delivering an effective rural voice for the county. We want policymakers, funders and all our stakeholders to have a clear understanding of what we do and the impact we make.

The work will include:

  • Developing and delivering a communications strategy for CAN
  • Managing all our websites
  • Leading our social media and wider media interaction
  • Creating our fortnightly CAN e-news bulletin
  • Leading the creation of all marketing/promotional materials and activity

The post is 15 hours per week (two days). The full-time equivalent salary is £39,152.
