WANTED: volunteer car drivers

The scheme, which is run in partnership with Adapt (North East) and commissioned by Northumberland County Council, is designed to help people who need transport to get somewhere important but don’t have access to their own vehicle, public transport or other option.

Demand for the scheme is high but we need more volunteer drivers to help meet the growing need. Volunteers must be over 18, willing and able to use their own car, have a clean driving licence and at least three years’ driving experience.
