CAN AGM Accounts and Annual Report
24th Nov 2023
Over 60 people joined us at Bardon Mill & Henshaw Village Hall on Monday this week for our AGM, to celebrate CAN’s achievements and to hear our plans for the future.
If you weren’t able to join us, you can view our Annual Report and Accounts below:
At the meeting, we welcomed Charlotte Wright as the most recent addition to the CAN Board. Charlotte brings a breadth of skills and experience to the CAN team of trustees including through her previous role as Chief Executive of Highlands and Islands Enterprise, a Scottish Government agency with a unique, combined approach to economic and community development across the northern half of Scotland. The agency’s work focused on advising and developing businesses, attracting inward investment and developing major strategic initiatives and supporting community development. Community initiatives included major land buy outs for communities, community energy, supporting income generating projects, building capacity and resilience.
Having permanently relocated to Northumberland in 2022, Charlotte was keen to find opportunities to be involved in the local community and is delighted to become a Trustee of CAN. We are also delighted! Welcome to CAN, Charlotte.
