As your Local Development Agency we offer a range of help, advice and practical support to groups and individuals in north Northumberland.

Based in 5 Tweed Street, Berwick upon Tweed since 1998 and more recently the Bell View Centre, Belford, we work throughout Alnwick District and Berwick Borough.

We believe that voluntary groups fulfil a vital role in our community and we are dedicated to helping them succeed.

What we do

For voluntary and community groups, we offer:

*     Help for groups getting started (eg constitutions, charitable status, roles of committee members)

*     Low cost services and resources (eg meeting rooms, faxing, laminating, document binding, display boards, overhead projector and screen)

*     Access to the Internet and other computing services (eg picture scanning, Desk Top Publishing advice, digital camera)

*     Library of helpful books and information sheets

*     Help in recruiting and retaining volunteers

*     Advice on identifying and applying for funds
 
*     Regular newsletters and mailings
 
*     Putting your group in touch with other networks and forums

*     Membership of Alnwick & Berwick Volunteer Co-ordinators Forums

*     Membership of Alnwick & Berwick Networks
