FUNDING
Community Action Northumberland can provide advice, support and information on funding for your project or service.

Community Action Northumberland employ a number of Community Development Officers who can give support, advice and assistance to groups in many different ways to help them secure funding for their projects. See the Contact Us section for details of where these staff are based or view our information sheets which provide advice on applying for funding. We have links to many of the key funders in Northumberland available on our links page.

Some of the ways a community development officer could help you include:

Helping you to develop a project idea
Searching for grants for your project
Assisting with writing a funding application - although we won't write it for you!
Reading over your funding application before you submit it
Publicising grant schemes and funding opportunites available in Northumberland
Managing certain grant schemes and funding programmes within Northumberland

CAN are involved in the management of the following grant schemes:

Grassroots Grants - Up to £5,000 for small community organisations

COMMA - Funding for communities affected by aggregates quarrying.
